This painting represents the memory that is left behind from a place once journeyed. Often slightly different in perspective.

The warm sienna, blush and sand tones represent the earth and ground, while the faded blue embodies the sky. All flowing together into a feeling of being and existing in the moment. Grounding within nature.

I referenced one of my favorite places for this body of work : Enchanted Rock. A geological wonder immersed in the Texas Hill County. Painting only from memory and capturing a recollection of place. One that changes based on perception and time.
