Created as part of the Chasing the Light Collection inspired by moments of healing and chasing joy.

The inception of the collection began around this painting. It captured a feeling within it that I wanted to explore. The colors of deep navy and teal are comforting and secure. The blush tones are airy and inspiring, while the earth brown is grounding and only present in this painting as it marks the beginning. The composition is awareness, each layer aware of the other, placed carefully over one another, yet not mixing but begging to become one.
